Repeat after me: RED SKY AT NIGHT SAILER'S DELIGHT. RED SKY IN MORNING, SAILER - TAKE WARNING!!!!

Well, what a crock of cow dung THAT is......last night had the required "red sky at night".... and this morning there was not one single bit of "red sky in morning" to be had - you want to know why? I'll tell you why. BECAUSE THE RAIN THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO COME IN LATE THIS EVENING....came in very early this morning and stayed here. Guess what else!!!??? It is now raining in MAINE. Guess where I have to go? Go ahead, geography whizkid..... guess............

Yep, I have to go to Maine. Oh well, another day of getting into the rain suit..... whoo hooooo. I got up and went into the Cooperman shop today to do whatever it is they asked me to do. WHICH, it turns out was see if there is a better way to match sticks by sound. The system that they use is as good as anything else being done, so I don't think they are going to change that at all.

I did get to watch as steam came out of the forests covering the mountain sides here in this part of Vermont. What a very pretty piece of real estate this place is, once you get past the very bad tattoo's and the accumulated "junk" in front of some of the homes. Even in the rain, the mountains look impressive and somewhat foreboding. It will not be an easy ride to the north country. It was pretty interesting, and WET getting to and from the shop today.

Dinner was had at the Old Grafton Inn tonight. It was, as expected, very tasty indeed. McDonalds? What's that?

I am going to put some photo's on the web page tonight in a separate edition of News from the Road. Thank you all for your comments. I am trying to keep abreast of them all and approving the one's that are for public consumption. You can also use my regular email address as well.

Let's see what tomorrow brings in terms of weather conditions.....although, it is NOT looking to good at all for the next few days...... grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Hey Mark...I hope you enjoy seeing West Quoddy lighthouse, which is located at the most eastern part of the US. I'm sure you are planning to go thru Lubec, which is the town it's located in. Wish I was there with you while you travel down the east coast!! Take care...watch out for moose!!!
