I COPIED THE SHOT FROM THE PREVIOUS EVENING. I USED A GARBAGE CAN AS MY TRIPOD FOR BOTH SHOTS.

THE FEEL OF THE BEACH WAS DIFFERENT THIS MORNING. THE HIGH WINDS OF YESTERDAY AFTERNOON WERE GONE, AND THE MISTY LOOK WAS REPLACED BY SHARP CONTRASTS.

I LIKE THIS SHOT. THE COUPLES FEEL RELAXED AND OBVIOUSLY WARM ENOUGH TO EITHER SIT AND SOAK UP THE SUN, OR TO WALK LEISURELY DOWN THE BEACH. THIS IS IN SHARP CONTRAST TO THE PREVIOUS EVENING WHEN MOST EVERYONE WAS RUNNING AROUND THROWING FRIZBEE FLYERS OR BASEBALLS, IN AN EFFOR TO KEEP WARM.

CAPE HATTERAS LIGHT CIRCA 1870

ANOTHER SHOT OF THE CAPE HATTERAS LIGHT. I WOULD LOVE TO MEET THE GUY WHO HAS TO
PAINT THIS THING.

NOTE THE FLOW THROUGH ARCHITECTURE. NOTHING IS "PERMANENT" AS FAR AS LIVING ACCOMODATIONS UNTIL YOU GET TO THE SECOND FLOOR - WHICH IS REALLY THE FIRST FLOOR - IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN.

ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF THE TYPE OF HOME THAT IS VERY POPULAR ON THE OUTER BANKS. THESE CAN BE RENTED AT UNUSUALLY HIGH PRICES OR PURCHASED FOR EQUALLY HIGH PRICES.

THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE SHOTS SO FAR. THE TWO GUYS UP FRONT ARE, IN FACT, PELLICANS. THE TWO GUYS IN BACK ARE PELLICAN'TS......

I HAVE WAITED MY WHOLE LIFE TO BE ABLE TO SAY THAT.
