I forgot to include this shot from Charleston. I had to eat here, out of the hundreds of choices available. I got a young man from Asheville NC, to take the shot for me. This place and a boatload of others are in the old town area of Charleston. I am still amazed at the number of people who came to town just to walk around.

My "Baked Ziti" has just arrived, and I found another young man from Bowling Green, Ky,
to do my portrait at the table. Thanks Charley. I am sitting here with a friend of Brian Schebils.
WRITE TO BRIAN ABOUT THAT.

A view of one of the old streets in St. Augustine, Florida. Some of the homes have been preserved, or restored, and most have been turned into shops of one kind or another.

When the movie came out, Brian (Logsdon) said that the star of the movie and Oscar hopeful, was the horse of the same name. He maintains to this day, that the horse was the best actor in the entire movie. I might argue that point. At any rate, the damn equine did make enough moohlah to open this place in St. Augustine. He wasn't there when I walked in, though.

Here stands the last Spaniard. This poor mummified chap has apparantly been standing outside this knife, armor and sword shop for some time, based on the thickness of the rust on him. Oh, his name is Dom DeLuise Conquistodore, Pablo, DeLaArmor, Quantocosto, DeLa Ladida, Francesco, Alesandro, Trojillo, Yankegohomo, Smith.
I think his mother was British.
