BOB IS OK AND LOOKING GOOD AFTER VISITING THE HOSPITAL ER.

SOME OF THE DAMAGE (WHITE AREAS ALONG THE TRUNK AND SEAT) EVIDENT ON BOB'S BIKE. ALL REPAIRABLE
STUFF. HIS WOUNDS LOOK MUCH BETTER TONIGHT THAN THEY DID EARLIER TODAY.

DRIVER SIDE OF THE TRAILER ABSORBED A LOT OF THE ENERGY OF BOB'S BIKE AS IT SLID DOWN THE ROAD.

IT IS EASY TO SEE WHERE THE BIKE SLID ON THE ASPHALT. BOB HAS JUST PACED IT OFF.
HE AND THE MACHINE SLID APPROXIMATELY 22' . THE TWO WET SPOTS ARE FROM OIL THAT
LEAKED OUT OF HIS SIDE CASE.

SOME OF MICHIGAN'S ORCHARDS, NOT TO FAR FROM LAKE MICHIGANS SHORE.

THIS IS MY VISION OF WHAT MICHIGAN IS. TALL PINE TREES STRETCHING TO THE SKY ALONG THE ROAD I AM
TRAVELING.

MICHIGAN IS SECOND TO NONE IN HAVING BEAUTIFUL COASTLINE VIEWS

HERE IS ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF WHAT I BELIEVE TO BE SOME OF THE MOST RICH VISUALLY STIMULATING
LANDSCAPES ANYWHERE.

VERY POSH HOMES IN A SECTOIN OF PETOSKEY. THIS IS ALL A PRIVATE ENCLAVE. BEAUTIFUL HOMES.

HERE ARE MORE OF THE HOMES IN WHAT IS CALLED "BAYVIEW".

THIS IS THE NICE FELLOW WHO MADE IT A POINT TO LET ME KNOW THAT I WAS IN HIS LANE OF TRAVEL AND HE
DIDN'T LIKE IT. I AM TIRED OF GUYS CUTTING ME OFF. CAN ANYONE LIEN MACHINE THAT PLATE?

FROM LEFT TO RIGHT: BOB PERRY (NOTE HOSPITAL ID BADGE ON WRIST), MARK LOGSDON, HARRY OSTER AND THE GOLF PRO AND LPGA ADVISOR TO THE STARS, PART TIME GOLF INSTRUCTOR AND GOLF COURSE EXPERT, AND A
WOMAN WHO NEEDS NO INTRODUCTION, CONNIE OSTER. THESE FINE FOLKS INVITED US TO STAY WITH THEM.

      Dad(Bob),
I have to admit that when I heard you were in an accident I thought the worse. However, after several emails with Charlotte, talking to you and seeing these pictures I feel much better. You are almost home so please be safe and keep the bike upright! Alex and I can't wait to see you.
      Love, Jenny

Well, I know that Dad wanted to fix the small scrape he had on the saddlebag but this is crazy! So, you know how people say that they hate to get 'the phone call'? Well I got mine yesterday when Charlotte phoned me to bring me up to speed. The good news is that everyone involved is OK and upright. The other bit of good news is that there's not a darn thing on those bikes that can't be replaced. The best Father in the history of man-kind however, would be a little hard to deal without...
Let's see if we can put a little spiritual meaning to all this: 'Show me a man that owns a motorcycle with no scratches, and I'll show you a motorcycle that should have stayed on the showroom floor....ride on my friends, ride on'.
We’re proud to see you all stick to the mission. May the last few hundred miles of your journey be less eventful, yet still as exciting as the past thousand(s).
We miss you both and are very proud to see the journey continue, and finish.
